"Working with Rachel was a mix of two extremes. At times she let us feel like it was just me and my fiancé, leaving us to find our groove and allow our personalities to shine through the pictures and our interactions. At other times, she came in and directed us, ensuring we captured those must-have shots that focused on our engagement, meaning lots of ring shots! Her energy was contagious, shouting out compliments that fueled our confidence in front of a camera and added to the comfort we felt posing together. The shoot was so much fun, and felt like a date night given how connected we felt afterwards. She provided us teasers, which made us so excited to see the final shots. And the final shots, the ones she chose, really capture who we are as a couple. They were bubbly and fun, while also being intimate and romantic. One of my favorite pictures captured the beauty of the lighthouse, and the pose Rachel had us go in make the scene look like one out of a movie.
